Filmmaker Farah Khan, who is a complete animal lover, recently welcomed two new puppies to her family from a Mumbai based NGO, World For All.
Farah and daughter Anya had been wanting to bring a puppy home and had been visiting several adoptathons for the last two years.
The two puppies – brown and black – are brother-sister pair and the Happy New Year director has named them “Gulab” and “Jamun”. She even did an impromptu photo session with the help of ace photographer Avinash Gowarikar.
“They’re a brother-sister pair, I couldn’t think of separating them. They arrived when Avinash Gowariker (photographer) and his wife had come over for lunch so we did an impromptu photo session. They’re brown and black and we wanted Indian names,” Farah said.
