Shekhar Kapur and his estranged wife Suchitra Krishnamoorthi's 12-year-old daughter Kaveri is all set to record her first single and music video that will be directed by her dad Shekhar Kapur. Confirming this news, her mother says that she has been composing since the age of 10. "Kaveri has written, composed and recorded her first single," said her mother Suchitra. She added, "Kaveri is 12 and has been writing and composing since she was 10, but was too shy to face the mic till now. I had to bribe her with the promise of a smartphone to record".
