Vivek Oberoi Blessed With a Baby Girl

Actor Vivek Oberoi was blessed with a baby girl on the auspicious occasion of Akshya Tritiya on Tuesday.

On Thursday afternoon, Vivek Oberoi's wife Priyanka was discharged from the Bangalore hospital, where she delivered their Daughter.

She was born on April 21 on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Both the mother and daughter are doing fine, said a source close to the Oberois, adding, "Vivek is likely to be in Bangalore for the next fortnight. During this time, they will also decide on an appropriate name for their bundle of joy."

"We are happy to announce the birth of our baby girl. Our family is now complete. Daughters are very special and Priyanka and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our baby girl into the world today. Both mother and the baby are doing fine and I'd like to thank everyone for their wishes," Vivek said in a statement.

Vivek's wife Priyanka gave birth to the baby in her home town Bengaluru.

Vivek-Priyanka couple tied the knot in 2010 and have a son, Vivaan Veer, who was born in February 2013.
