In his first post-shaadi interview, the Saif talks of Kareena and how his kids were an integral part of the wedding ceremonies.
How easy is it for the children? At the back of your mind, somewhere, you'll have the question: How comfortable are they going to be? Did you have to handle any awkward silences?
In a modern relationship today, you have these situations which are not textbook. But if there's love and understanding, people grow together, grow comfortable. If it wasn't a comfortable situation, comfortable enough - the fact that they were there at the wedding, and quite happy to be there, says it all. And they played quite an important part in the wedding. Ibrahim held the ring for me, Sara held the garlands. I wanted them, and Kareena wanted them, to be very much a part of things. That was something that we had worked our way towards in our relationship.

We keep talking about India being very traditional and full of these old world values while more and more people are raped and things like that. We need to accept the fact that we're not all that traditional anymore. First of all, we're human. The most correct relationships in the most perfect kind of setup can also end in complete disaster.
