Anil Kapoor's Son Harshvardhan (Harsh Kapoor) will be assisting Anurag Kashyap on his upcoming film Bombay Velvet.
Anil Kapoor is now a not just a content man, but also a proud father! His 20 year old son Harshvardhan Kapoor is now all geared up to continue the family legacy in bollywood.
Sonam Kapoor's younger brother Harshvardhan who stands over six-feet tall, has taken courses in cinematography and screenplay writing in Los Angeles. He is currently in Orange County, LA but will shift base to Mumbai soon.
Harsh Kapoor will join filmmaker Anurag Kashyap as an Assistant Director in his Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma film "Bombay Velvet". Dad Anil Kapoor says: "Anurag and Harsh have been in touch for many years. They have their own equation."
Learning filmmaking before they plunge as actors is a fad that is fast catching up in Bollywood. Ranbir Kapoor assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali before he became a star; Before debuting with ‘Ishaqzaade’, Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor assisted Karan Johar in ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan also assisted Karan Johar in ‘My Name Is Khan’.
Also, Harshvardhan's sister Sonam Kapoor began her career by assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Black. And later she debuted with his movie Saawariya. So does that mean Mr Kashyap will also follow suit and launch this new kid on the block?
However, Aamir Khan's son Junaid has no plans to be an actor as of now. He is all set to assist Raj Kumar Hirani on "P.K." that will go on the floors this September.
