Krishan debuts as pianist in father Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted, a 3- D flick produced and directed by her father Vikram Bhatt With His Daughter Krishna While shooting for the horror thriller, the director realised that he needed a pianist. His daughter, who was on the sets assisting him, was the perfect fit. Explains Vikram, “ There’s a scene in the movie where the lead actress ( Tia Bajpai) is attending a piano class. I needed a pianist and that’s when my daughter came to mind.” Krishna is a Class XI student at the Ryan Global School. The 16- year- old is obviously very excited to be directed by her father in her debut film. Prefers acting A sixth- grade pianist, Krishna has been learning the instrument for eight years now. Vikram Bhatt is in the middle of shooting his next adventure thriller titled Shaapit. He is producing six films this year but that doesn't mean it's all about work. Vikram Bhatt celebrated birthday on Tuesday night (January 27) with his daughter. Krishna's treat Talking about it, the filmmaker says, "My 14-year-old daughter Krishna took me out for dinner as a treat, using her own pocket money. That was the best birthday gift I had. We had a sumptuous Indian dinner at Sun N' Sand. Trishna knows I love the black daal there so she chose the place." Vikram adds laughingly, "Though I have always been spiritual, this year I have been flooded with idols of Ganpati and books on the Bhagwad Gita. Of late, Vikram Bhatt has been spotted with his daughter Krishna at various B-Town events. She accompanied the filmmaker to the premiere of Jaane Tu and was also at the coffee table book launch of Vikram's horror flick, 1920. The youngster has also been seen on the sets of the film. It is learnt that the 14-year-old recently harboured aspirations of being a director. As a result, she has been accompanying her dad to get a feel of showbiz. Says Vikram, "I was 14 when I started with Mukul Anand's Kanoon Kya Karega in 1984. Krishna has done her homework. When anyone says, 'She is too young', she tells me, 'What age did you start, dad?'
