Ahan Shetty’s debut is because of Salman Khan, papa Suniel Shetty shares a special thanks

Recently, the news of Suniel Shetty's son, Ahan, making his Bollywood debut welcomed another star kid on the block. Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty is all set to make his Bollywood debut and that too under filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala. Ahan is reportedly in London for a special training before venturing into Bollywood and is a “star in the waiting”. The 21-year-old will be launched by Sajid Nadiadwala in a romantic-action film.

In 2015, Suniel’s daughter Athiya Shetty was launched by Salman Khan with the remake of Subhash Ghai’s Hero. Though, Suniel had earlier said that Salman would launch Ahan too. In an interaction with a leading daily, Anna admitted that he is more than happy with the launch pad.

Suniel Shetty shared his happiness and welcomed his son to the “beautiful world of films” and asked him to stay “grounded”. Suniel tweeted, “God owes us nothing but gives us everything. Always stay grounded Ahan. Welcome to the beautiful world of films. Always there for you. Papa.”

Suniel also mentioned Salman Khan in a tweet and posted, “Can’t help bt think of u al day today as Ahan tks a step fwd in d industry!Ur gentle push & immense encouragement hs gt hm here!Love U Bhai!’

“For me, Salman and Sajid are one and the same. It was Salman who recommended Ahan’s name to Sajid and the decision was taken by the two together. Salman has been extremely supportive of both my kids,” Suniel said, and added, “Also, I was very clear that I wouldn’t make a film for them. I never got anything on a platter so I wanted them to go out there and make it by themselves. They always have me to support them. ”

Karan Johar too seems to be excited about Ahan’s debut. He took to Twitter to express his happiness on the same.

Karan praised Ahan by sharing a picture of the aspiring actor. He wrote, “In full on training mode….a star in the waiting…..INTRODUCING #AHANSHETTY …congratulations to Sajid Nadiadwala…@SunielVShetty”

Suniel, who has been bombarded with wishes and messages, expressed his happiness, and quoted, "It has been crazy. People I haven’t spoken to for decades called to congratulate me. It was almost like his film had released and was declared a hit. This feeling was the same I had when Athiya and Ahan were born. I had tears of joy.”

Shetty also asserted that his kids were never given preferential treatment. “My kids are very grounded. They have strong values and it all came from their grandparents. They will never misbehave or ill-treat anyone. That much I can vouch for, " he said, before signing off.
