The new mom revealed the secret of her baby’s peaceful sleep at the event.

She said, “Being a first time mother has made me learn and unlearn my beliefs about baby care. Like many mothers, I trusted my sight or smell to change my baby’s diaper. I would just check the outside of the diaper and feel happy thinking that my baby is dry by just feeling it from outside.”

“On the recommendation of my pediatrician, I checked my baby’s diaper from inside only to find that not only was the inside wet but also my baby’s bottom was also wet. That is when I decided to use a diaper which ensures dryness from inside for the peaceful sleep of my little baby. I swear by Pampers Baby Dry Pants for my baby boy’s peaceful sleep. Pampers Baby Dry Pants assures dryness on the inside which no other diaper promises as of today. My baby is best pampered in Pampers Pants,” Genelia added.

Besides being a happy mother, Genelia is also a content wife. “When I was pregnant, the kind of love and care I got from Riteish was unmatchable. He would be by my side all the time… He took 15 days off at the time of delivery; otherwise he kept his professional commitments during the pregnancy. I say that we were pregnant together and delivered the baby together too,” she adds with a smile.

“Both my mom and mom-in-law say, ‘You have to be your own mother.’ Today I have stepped out of the house for the first time; my baby is sleeping but both of them are taking care of him. So I have to rush home.”

About Riteish being a hands-on father, Genelia says, “He, too, remains awake with me. He takes care of the baby, changes diapers etc. He is always there for the baby and me. It’s indeed lucky to have such a loving husband.”
